Dr. Salvo is double board certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He specializes in sports injuries, knee ligament (ACL & PCL) reconstructions, meniscus tears, shoulder instability, rotator cuff repairs, and hip arthroscopy. As Director of the Hip Arthroscopy program at Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Salvo is one of the region’s leaders in hip arthroscopy & hip preservation, particularly in athletes. He is a team physician for the Philadelphia Eagles as well as the Philadelphia Flyers, and a consultant for the Philadelphia Phillies. Dr. Hrubes is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Sports Medicine and is the Director of our Primary Care Sports Division for the New York region. She currently serves as the Medical Director for the Radio City Rockettes, as a team physician for the United States Soccer Federation and has previously worked with United States Gymnastics. She has experience with broad-based musculoskeletal injuries with particular interest in injury prevention and biomechanical rehabilitation in athletes, performing artists, endurance sports, and female athletes. She specializes in ultrasound-guided procedures, regenerative medicine, and electrodiagnostic medicine.Lesson 2:  Non-Traumatic Hip Pain in the Athlete

Monte has joined Good Shepherd Penn Partners after spending the last five seasons as the team’s Physical Therapist/Assistant Athletic Trainer with the NFL Philadelphia Eagles. Prior to his time with the Eagles, he has helped the NFL Minnesota Vikings, and with the NHL Minnesota Wild. Monte has a strong sports background over his career, treating athletes at all levels, and is excited to work within the passionate sports community in and around the City of PhiladelphiaLesson 3: Non-Surgical Hip Rehabilitation  

Faculty Member: Monte Wong, DPT, ATC

Since 2013, Dr. Wong has served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist for the Philadelphia Eagles. He earned his Bachelor of Exercise Sport Science from the University of Manitoba. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh.
