On-Field Evaluation of Concussion and Sports Vision (P24-2)



Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify key updates from the Consensus Statement from the 6th International Confererence on Concussion in Sport held in Amsterdam in October 2022.
  2. Review the updated SCAT6 and SCOAT and determine how to implement into existing concussion protocol.
  3. Review current on-field evaluation methods in major league baseball.
  4. Identify key components to concussion management prior to physician referral.
  5. Identify the role of vision in baseball (sports) performance.
  6. Review the role of, and how to implement, a sprots vision testing and training program in a baseball organization.
